Niobium plates are used as thermal protection and structural materials in aviation and aerospace industries, electronic tubes and other vacuum devices, superconducting materials, heat-resistant alloys, and hard alloys. The superconducting transition temperature of niobium is high, and niobium compounds and alloys can be used to make superconducting materials.
