Target materials are the key foundational materials for preparing thin films. Currently, the commonly used methods for target material preparation and processing mainly include powder metallurgy technology and traditional alloy smelting technology. However, we use a technically advanced and relatively new vacuum melting technology.

The preparation of nickel chromium target materials is to select nickel and chromium of different purities as raw materials according to the different purity requirements of customers, and use a vacuum induction melting furnace for melting. The melting process generally includes vacuum extraction in the melting chamber, argon gas washing, vacuum extraction, inert gas protection, melting and alloying, refining, casting, cooling and demolding. We will conduct composition testing on the completed ingots, and the ingots that meet the requirements will be processed in the next step.

Further forging and rolling the nickel chromium ingot to obtain a more uniform rolled plate structure, and then machining the rolled plate according to customer requirements to obtain nickel chromium target materials that meet customer requirements.
